Cereals, Foodstuffs, Marine Products, Timber, Paper, Pulp, Rubber and Textiles

NKKK conducts survey and measuring of a wide range of agricultural and marine products imported en masse, which include rice, wheat, barley, feed, vegetable oil sources, salt, raw sugar, timber, etc.
With many experts well informed of the features and properties of such items for the purposes of survey, analysis and measuring, NKKK handles the following items:

Cereals: rice, wheat, barley, oil cake, bran, maize, milo, pellet and other fodder, soya beans, kapok, rape seed and other vegetable oil sources.
Note: At the request of the Food Agency of the Japanese Government, we carry out a hatch survey on every ship which imports rice.

We also conduct survey on maize and bran as we are a surveyor? designated by the Assessment? Committees of Fire and Marine Inspection Rating Association of? Japan.

Foodstuffs: Raw sugar, refined sugar, coffee, cocoa, cowpea, red bean and other miscellaneous beans, beef, horsemeat, mutton and other live-stock products, banana, pineapple, etc.
Note: Regarding the raw sugar, we conduct not only measuring and sampling but also tests to determine polarization. We conduct survey on bananas, designated by Japan Banana Importers' Association and by those who represent the producers.
We also conduct survey on maize and bran as we are a surveyor designated by the Assessment Committees of Fire and Marine Inspection Rating Association of Japan.

Marine products and processed marine products: Frozen fishes, canned seafood, fish meal, etc.

Salt: We conduct a draft survey and sampling on salt.

Timber, paper and pulp:
Note: We conduct the dimension and quality checks on timber imported from southeast Asia, Alaska, Canada and United States, as well as timber for pulp.

Rubber:
Note: As appointed surveyor of Rubber Trade Association of Japan, we conduct sampling and measuring on rubber. Textile materials and products: Wool, cotton, linen and other natural and synthetic textiles.

Note: We are appointed surveyors on cotton. Drinks and other non-essential edibles: table luxuries, including various drinks, foods, tobacco, cigarettes and pepper.

NKKK is always ready to undertake inspection of these products according to the customers' requirements with the expert inspectors of chemistry, metallurgy, electric engineering, mechanical engineering, and sea transportation stationed all over Japan.

This inspection service, covering those products on sea and land is highly evaluated by the customers an effective means to facilitate transactions by preventing damage settling claims for products.
